Songbeat

Songbeat is an audio player that accesses various web services so you can stream whatever song you want.

With Songbeat, you can listen to a song from virtually any artist you can think of without having to download it first, but you can always download too if that's what you really want (there’s a maximum of 25 downloads in the free version).

Just enter the name of the artist or song you want to listen to and wait for Songbeat to show you its search results. You can then listen to the song online or download it to your computer.

And there's more: Songbeat also lets you listen and download songs from LastFM. Some of the other web services that Songbeat uses as a source are: Project Playlist, Seeqpod, SpoolFM and Iask.

However, the developers of Songbeat state you should only access the songs if you've previously purchased them in another format.
